I started uploading some photos of my October 2011 cruise on the Costa Concordia. First, my heart is broken for all the people who lost their lives when the Concordia struck rocks and sank. Without a doubt, my week on the ship was one of the best cruises I’ve ever been on. I was one of the few Americans on board, but was embraced by my fellow travelers from Argentina, Holland, Australia, England, Italy and Spain. The staff were also great — from the kitchens, cabin attendants, shop keepers, to the maintenance/machinists you rarely get to see. God bless.
